Since COVID-19 has changed the way the entire world works our Orange County martial arts school has changed as well. While we still hold in person classes 6 days per week we now offer online Taekwon-do lessons via Zoom. In addition, our social media efforts are also instrumental in letting people know what our school offers. Why Choose Aliso Hills Taekwon-do
Southern California has many different martial arts schools to choose from. However no 2 martial arts are the same and no 2 schools are the same. School owner Master Paul D’Ambrosio, aka ‘Master D.’ has several decades experience teaching Taekwon-do in Orange County.
Aliso Hills TKD teaches traditional Taekwon-do rather than sport Taekwon-do. Sport TKD is an entirely different approach to martial arts training and is very focused on tournaments and sparring than what we teach at AHTKD.
Traditional TKD differs from sport TKD in several ways. The primary difference is we teach the 5 tenets of Taekwon-do to all students of all ages from their first day of class. These are:

As our school consists of many children as young as 3 years of age the atmosphere and environment we have created, even if classes are attended via Zoom, help kids learn discipline, accountability (for both at home and at school) and how to overcome fears that no other physical activity can. In addition, they have a tremendous amount of fun while doing it.
Many parents also study Taekwon-do with their children here at Aliso Hills TKD. Very few extra-curricular activities, or team sports, allow for a parent and child to spend time together learning something fun and new like martial arts does. Family is the backbone of our school and we strive to maintain a very family friendly culture for our students.
